    碳化硼、碳化硅工程陶瓷制品具有耐高温,熔点达2450℃左右;耐高压,抗压强度大于400MPa;硬度高,显微硬度碳化硼大于3500Kgf/mm2,碳化硅大于2300Kgf/mm2;与强酸强碱不起反应等共同特征。由于碳化硼中的B14中子缺失,它还具有较大的热中子俘获截面,具有极好的中子吸收和抗辐射性能,由于其具有耐高温,耐酸碱腐蚀,高强度,高化学稳定性,比重轻,半导体等特点而成为众多行业的****材料。
    产品广泛应用于喷砂机械的喷射嘴;密封环节中密封垫;半导体电子元器件;拉丝模具;铸造行业的高温衬;防弹衣片;防弹装甲板;核反应堆控制棒和屏蔽材料。
    碳化硼粉末研磨效率高作为研磨介质主要用于材料的磨细工艺中,应用于宝石、陶瓷、机械刀具、轴承、硬质合金等硬质材料的磨削、研磨、钻孔及抛光等。由于碳化硼具有抗氧化、耐高温的特性,被应用于钢铁炉具、窑具的不定形和定形的耐火材料上。具有的高化学稳定性,被大量用于渗硼材料上,如硼化锆、硼化钛等。

According to this point it has good ability to absorb neutron and resist eradiation.Because of their high hardness and strength, excellent wear and corrosion, low density, low friction coefficient good self-lubricate and high temperature properties both silicon carbide and boron carbide components have been widely used in many industries.Some of the applications are listed below: Sand blasting nozzle, mechanical seal, wire drawing mould, neutron absorption block, bulletproof vest, armor plate, measuring clap. Boron carbide powder is grinding efficiently. Due to this quality, it is used as a grinding medium in the grinding and polishing of gem, ceramic, machinery cutter, bearing, hard alloy and other hard materials. It applies for refractory materials due to its quality of antioxidation and bearing high temperature. Because of boron carbide good chemical resistance, it used to produce other boron containing materials such as titanium boride or zirconium boride.
